Yeah I know…

Its bothering the shit out of me. I dont have any new pics to put up. Christmas broke me man, and the taking the rolls to the lab will have to wait.

I am shooting, a lot actually, and the rolls are piling up.

I will get it done.

I REALLY want a scanner and I am now REALLY thinking about developing at home.

Have to look into it further, but it might be a posibility.

Ok just updating more for myself to let off the frustration more than to update my very huge and loyal fan base. ha

I did reach 500 reads recently and that felt good, cause I am really no one and I am not part of some photo scene somewhere. I just really enjoy this.

Sorry, no pictures in this post.

BUT!

I just got done re-sealing my old Nikon FT3. Like most cameras of that age all of the foam seals around the back door and even the mirror dampener had turned into a gooey mess.

SO!

I looked around on some message boards and figured out that I COULD do it myself with a little help. At first I figured I would have to send it off and that would cost more than the camera is worth…

SO!

I said screw that.

BUT!

Lucky I found this amazing product on Ebay.

Jon is a super nice guy and helped out with any questions I had. The products he sent me were very high quality and his instructions were very easy to follow. I didnt screw up anything on my first try. So much foam comes with the kit I swear you could do 10 cameras. He also has downloadable instructions for specific types of cameras on his page…here.

So all I am saying is THANKS! JON!

but Im also letting anyone know who might be wondering how to correct this problem, that it is very easy. Cleaning the old goo takes a little time, but its not too hard. Just some lighter fluid, a paper towel and a bamboo stick (which comes with the kit).

NO! Jon did not put me up to this in anyway. He doesn’t know me at all.

I was just super impressed and excited that I got this done! I was tired of having to tape the back door cause I was getting light leaks on rare occasions. Not anymore.

Im running out of names

Yeah, I have a really hard time naming these things.

Cause they arent really about anything in particular. It just some photos.

I have even more trouble when I have to name pictures over on my Deviantart page. I think I am going to stick with numbers from now on.

Sitting at the airport waiting for our flight.  This guy had another brother and they were having the time of their lives. They were constantly fighting and playing hide and seek under the chairs. It was pretty cool to watch.

Yeah the colors are kinda off but hey what do you want from me. I like my colors to be a slight offset from normal. I want to shoot music videos for Christ sake.

ok so the last one sucked.

here is one thing you guys will probably notice about a lot of my pictures.

Most of them have WAY to much head room. Well, I hate it as much as the next person, but I have only shot about 10 rolls through my Bessa R3a and I still have a hard time seeing the top frame line for the 40mm. So a lot of times, especially on the fly, I accidentally use the top of the actual view window as the top frame line. It drives me crazy.  So its one thing I am conscious of.

I think I am doing better, I have several rolls at the lab and we will see if they are better.
