its that time again

I have been pretty swamped lately, havent really gotten to take to many photos actually.

Got this roll back and its pretty boring, but I gotta keep this thing movin or whats the point, right?

So, this is my first roll every shot through a holga.

Obviously I really didnt know what I was doing. I think once I get some more through it I will be able to guess much better.

This is all tri-x 400 and lab neg scans.

Some are alright, most are rubbish, but thought I would share all of them that had at least a small bit of picture on them.

the great outdoors

Some stuff from when Oliver Gabe and I went to Starved Rock State Park in IL.

It was a blast but we didnt get there early enough in the day to see the whole thing.

We mainly just spent our time trying to wonder off the path into as many places as we werent supposed to be.

I dont know about other people but paved pathways is not what i call hiking through nature.

We found some cool canyons and waterfalls.

Well here is some of the better pictures. This trip is one of those times where I wished I had some sort of digital camera as well. Even if it is just some kind of point and shoot.

I dont really shoot out of moving cars very much but this was kinda cool. Its framed pretty straight for not looking through the finder.

I hate the backseat. For starters Im 6′4 and I always feel left out. Ok not that much but it still sucks.

finally

got some new stuff.

couple of rolls I have been waiting to get developed for awhile. Still dont have a scanner so these are all lab scans.

Not very good ones either.

Im pretty sure all of these are from a free roll of fomapan I got.

Doesnt look very good at all. I did shoot it at 800 but it still came out pretty crappy. Could have been the developing though.

oh and my monitor crapped out so its off getting fixed and I am using a loaner. Lets just say its nowhere near calibrated correctly so if these look strange in any way let me know. I probably cant tell on the thing.

Sushi night. Lots of rain and lots of car wrecks. Pretty entertaining though.
